BG Serpent - bit by bit
Nach einer sehr langen Auszeit mal wieder eine WCMOD News.Tolwyn hat uns zwei brandneue Screenshots zu ihrer Freespace 2 Modifikation Battlegroup Serpent geschickt. Diese zeigen zum ersten Mal das neue Texturdesign für die alten WC1/2 Ära Schiffe. Der Stil ist in Mausgrau und eher schlicht gehalten.
Links seht ihr die veränderte, rechts die "alte" Crossbow. Dem Bomber wurde sämtliches weiß entzogen und durch metallgrau ersetzt. In der Farbe erinnert sie mich an die Centurion aus Privateer.
Die veränderte Rapier schaut fast aus, wie ein komplett neuer Jäger. Mir fehlt dennoch ein wenig grün, oder vielleicht sogar blau.
After a long time without update, there is a new news about a Wing Commander modification.Tolwyn sent us two brand-new screenshots of the Freespace 2 mod Battlegroup Serpent. These show the new texture style for the old WC1/2 era fighters for the first time. The style is held in a grey and simple way.
On the left hand side, you see the new, on the right hand side, you see the "old" Crossbow. All the white colours has been extracted and been substituted by a metal-grey. In this color, it reminds me of a Privateer Centurion.
The modded Rapier looks almost like a complete new fighter. I am missing a little bit green or blue though.
